How can I apply as a participant on the MTS Markets and BondVision?                             Answers Who are the participants of the MTS Markets? All major international financial institutions participate in the MTS system. For the quote-driven cash markets, participants must be banks trading on their own account (i.e. no buy side, no individuals). Participants can elect to be either one of two categories: market makers or market takers. Market makers provide continuous two-way liquidity during the trading day and are able to aggress prices. Market takers are restricted to aggressing market prices only. For the order-driven repo markets, participants also include non-banks.
