The EuroMTS Index is the first independent, transparent, real-time and tradable government bond index for the European investment community. The index is calculated and disseminated every 30 seconds between 0900CET and 1730CET using bid prices of the underlying bonds trading on MTS. MTS is the main trading system for Eurozone government securities with over 4000 trading screens connecting more than 270 market participants and daily trading volumes exceeding Eur 85 billion in value.
This role has been created to provide support on the index maintenance, calculation and dissemination. A number of financial instruments derived from the EuroMTS Index have been produced by banks and funds. Consequently, the successful applicant will be numerate and analytical, and will be accustomed to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and precision.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily index monitoring including pre-open checks, and internal/external escalation where required
